Dr. Gregory DeLaurier and Caroline Hamrick Now Providing Colon and Rectal Treatment and Surgical Care

University Health Alliance (UHA), a multi-disciplinary practice focusing on prevention and coordinated care, welcomes Dr. Gregory DeLaurier, a board-certified colon and rectal surgeon, and Caroline Hamrick, a board-certified nurse practitioner, to its acclaimed roster. Now offering colon and rectal treatment and surgical care, Dr. DeLaurier and Caroline are seeing patients at the UHA office at Old Jefferson Road.

Leading UHA’s colon and rectal care and surgeries service line, Dr. DeLaurier and Hamrick provide premium medical care. Dr. DeLaurier specializes in diverticulitis, colon cancer, anal and rectal cancer, hemorrhoid treatment, anal fissure treatment, anorectal abscess, fistulas of the colon and anus, rectal prolapse, and polyps of the colon and rectum. He performs laparoscopic and robotic surgical procedures including transanal minimally invasive surgery, traditional hemorrhoidopexy, colon cancer screenings, colonoscopy, and high resolution anoscopy.

A Georgia native, Dr. DeLaurier is dedicated to contributing to the advancement of colorectal surgery. Additionally, he is passionate about educating patients on the importance of early colorectal diagnosis to prevent diseases.

Collaborating with Dr. DeLaurier since 2006, Hamrick received her bachelors of science in nursing from the University of Tennessee and a master of nursing from Kennesaw State University. With vast experience in colorectal surgery, Hamrick offers expertise and high-quality colorectal care.
